Press Coverage of the 2010 YoungCuts Film Festival

...though one might expect the Best of the Fest offerings to be top-heavy with razzmatazz special effects and blaring sound-scores, it could come as something of a revelation that the youthful filmmakers have mostly opted for traditional themes in traditional live-action and animation genres.

YoungCuts Film Festival starts this Thursday!

The YoungCuts Film Festival starts this Thursday, September 23rd!

The Festival kicks off with the Opening Party at Salon Officiel (351 Roy Est) 8PM on Thursday.

On Friday, September 24th at 1PM, our Honorary Chairman Justin Trudeau launches our screenings at Cinema du Parc (3575 Parc) with a FREE lecture and screening hosted by Manon Barbeau of Wapikoni Mobile. (To attend the FREE screening please register with us in advance at 514.285.4591)

Remember tickets for the Festival are $7.50 or 10 for $50.00 purchased in advance from the Festival web-site.
